ordering Coffee
We roast our coffee Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of each week, and we try to ship coffee within 24 hours from roast. Orders will ship out latest on Thursday, and we resume shipments the following Monday. You can expect to receive our beans within 2-5 days from roast, depending on your location and proximity from Philadelphia.
Coffee Best Use Time + Storage
Beans are best used within the first two weeks of roast date and should be stored in a dark and dry area. For the Vietnamese Espresso Blend, the flavors gets better over time (whoa!), but we recommend using this blend within a month.
Shipping
We roast on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of every week. Orders will ship out latest on Thursday, and we resume shipments the following Monday. All orders are shipped via USPS and are first class or priority. All orders over $50 receive free shipping.
We frequently hold pop-ups and run catering events at local spaces and public events around the city. In the past, we have served coffee at Little Giant Creative’s A Dream Deferred Exhibit, The Rail Park’s Lunar New Year Event, Banh Mi & Bottles, Riverwards Produce, Rowhouse Grocery, Di Bruno Bros and many more. Pop-Ups + Catering events
Founded in 2012 by Càphê Roasters’ co-owner, Raymond John, 12 Plus is an education non-profit that partners with five Philadelphia public high schools: Kensington Health Sciences Academy and Kensington High School in Kensington, Penn Treaty High School in Fishtown, Hill-Freedman World Academy in Mt. Airy, and Belmont Charter School in West Philadelphia. A portion of our profits are donated to 12 Plus, and we will employ students and alumni of the program to manage a variety of roles in our roasting facility and future brick and mortar.
